Senior Director’s Message
कालो वा कारणं राज्ञो, राजा वा काल कारणम् ।
इति ते संशयो मा भूद् राजा कालस्य कारणम् ।
In Mahabharata, while sharing his words of wisdom with King Yudhishthira, Bhishma says –” Without doubt, it is the king who is the cause of good or bad times! “
The good or bad decisions of rulers, whether in a democratic set up or otherwise, greatly define our destiny. This calls for youth with character and values to assume leadership positions, to usher ‘good times’ as mentioned in Mahabharata.
The undergraduate and postgraduate programs introduced by MIT-WPU’s School of Public Policy (SoPP) are the tiny steps in this endeavour. We look forward to impart the necessary knowledge and skills as well as develop a positive attitude to enable our students propel themselves to various leadership positions in public life.
Our syllabus reflects the combination of knowledge and experience of various pra-cademicians, including but not limited to, eminent civil servants, industry leaders, academic experts, public policy thinkers, innovators and entrepreneurs. Our course components and pedagogy have been designed by the academic team the to provide students a rich learning experience.
We are mindful of the career support needed by our students, and the of School of Public Policy would support the students throughout their academic journey and beyond. MIT-WPU has a strong relationship with 650+ industries and has signed MOUs with various government establishments. During our academic programs, the students will be encouraged to apply for internship with public and private organiations. We would also support the students for a) Campus Placement, b) Entrepreneurship Development and c) Pursuing Higher Studies. For details, kindly refer https://mitwpu.edu.in/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/CIAP.pdf
Public policy professionals are sought after in various management realms, thanks to their capability to see the bigger picture. I heartily welcome you to join the public policy programs that can shape your future as well as take our nation to a new high.
